Because we recognize the key roles today’s youth play in tomorrow’s conservation efforts we offer deeply discounted admission to teachers, chaperones, and students of $10 per visitor – regardless of age. Educational group tours include the guided safari tour as well as the walk-through. These reservations must be made online in advance. Educational Groups can purchase parakeet sticks for $1 each, which is half off the regular price. We do not accept purchase orders.
Field trip coordinators may book their field trip online as long as they have a minimum of 20 students. One teacher per booking is free. One feed bucket per 20 students is provided at no additional cost to educational groups only. Students, extra teachers, aids and chaperones are $10. During Field Trip Season we also have back to back schools and public tours. Having an accurate group account is important for us to deliver positive experiences to all of our groups. This is to ensure that everyone can ride the tour truck through the safari and experience all of our hands-on activities. Note: Parents and Chaperones who do not reserve in the school booking and pay in advance will be charged full price $25 per person. This is intended to encourage parents to communicate with the booking teacher in advance and to cover our extra unexpected costs or losses that result from changes to the manifest on the day of the tour.
Homeschool families are able to take advantage of the same discounts during one of our designated homeschool days. To participate homeschool families must book online in advance. There is no minimum number of students. All family members can take advantage of the $10 homeschool rate. Animal feed is extra and the walk-thru will be self guided. The safari will be a guided tour with tours departing every 30 minutes from the walk-thru. Note: Anyone arriving on the day of the event without a reservation will be charged full price $25 per person.
Take advantage of the ranch’s picnic ramada which can seat up to 50 guests – more seating is available upon request for larger groups.
School groups can also travel a short distance to Ramsey Park in Eagar where there is a large covered picnic area and playground.
